Learn when to use ser or estar with personal characteristics!

Estar + adjetivos descriptivos: it usually refers to characteristics that change. It is also used to say how something looks.
- Hoy estรกs muy guapo: you look handsome today.
Ser + adjetivos descriptivos: it usually refers to permantent characteristics.
- Tรบ eres muy guapo: you are very handsome.
More adjectives to describe people:
- Despistado: absent-minded
- Joven: young
- Nuevo: new
- Viejo: old
However there are some adjectives that change their entire meaning when they follow ser or estar.
- Estar listo: to be ready.
- Ser listo: to be smart.
- Estar orgulloso: to be proud of something
- Ser orgulloso: to be arrogant.
- Estar interesado: to be interested in something
- Ser un interesado: to be a stakeholder
- Estar molesto: to be upset
- Ser molesto: to be annoying
